On 19 January 2014 at 20:30, a motorist on an expressway saw 3 orange luminous shapes moving slowly overhead and passed beneath them, perceiving an acute triangle. Weather records show a very light wind varying from south to east. The movement fits drifting objects, and orange resembles sky-lantern flames, but the reported triangular shape seems incompatible. The source also points to GEIPAN photograph DSC7031 of 3 lanterns that might resemble the sighting. Evidence is moderate to weak. The witness was driving and looking through the windshield, making actual object movement difficult to estimate from a moving viewpoint. No other report came from the densely populated area. GEIPAN classifies the case C: insufficient corroboration to confirm or reject sky lanterns.
