At 23:56, orange balls forming geometric patterns crossed the sky silently in a few minutes. This strongly suggested sky lanterns, probably released nearby after a private party. They moved toward the southwest, consistent with a northeast wind recorded at Roissy. No other accounts were collected in the area. GEIPAN classified the case B as a probable sky lantern sighting.
