WILLGOTTHEIM (67) 25.06.2014

The Willgottheim case is dated 25 June 2014. Orange lights following the same paths across the night sky over a few minutes suggest sky lanterns released nearby after a private party. The narrative calls it a weekend night; that wording is retained alongside the catalog date. The reported trail might be smoke from a lantern burner. Météociel recorded very light north to northeast wind. Of 2 types of movement described, only 1 fits the northeast wind. A different upper-level wind pattern might explain the other, possible in weak winds but unconfirmed. Despite many lantern characteristics, complex movement leaves doubt. GEIPAN classifies the case C: insufficient information and corroboration.
