At about 23:00, a witness saw a bright light rise from the ground and move west at high speed. A second appeared a few minutes later on the same path.
GEIPAN considers successive bright yellow lights on a Saturday night, moving with the light easterly wind at Blagnac, suggestive of sky lanterns released after a celebration. Low strangeness meant no site investigation was requested.
The case is classified B: probable sky lanterns.
