At about midnight, a witness saw an orange light move silently right to left, followed by several more a few minutes apart. No other account was collected.
GEIPAN considers successive orange lights following the same path over several minutes on a weekend night suggestive of sky lanterns released nearby after a private celebration. Northeastward movement matches the very light, variable westerly to southwesterly wind recorded at Tours.
