On 10 August 2014 at 23:25, a witness walking dogs at Épinonville saw 2 white points of light following one another rapidly across the sky. Only 1 account was collected. GEIPAN considered the description strongly suggestive of 2 satellites, one large. A Calsky check confirmed that the International Space Station was visible then, accompanied by the European ATV5 cargo spacecraft ahead of its docking on 12 August 2014. GEIPAN classifies this fully identified observation A: the ISS and ATV5.
