On 26 October 2014 at about 01:30, a witness opening a house gate saw an inverted-Y-shaped object move silently south to north. No color or flashing was noticed during the roughly 10-second sighting. The whole family present saw it moving before it was lost from view. Only 1 account was collected. The evidence in the investigation file suggests birds flying in formation, but missing information and verification prevent certainty (see the investigation report). The account has only moderate evidential support: it is imprecise and lacks many details, with 1 submitted account potentially corroborated by 2 other family members and no photograph. Strangeness is fairly low. Although the shape was unusual, an explanation involving birds is plausible in shape, size, speed, trajectory and brightness. GEIPAN classifies the case B: probable flight of large migratory birds.
