MOUANS-SARTOUX (06) 23.11.2014

In April 2015, a witness reported a sighting from his apartment window in Mouans-Sartoux (06) at 21:40 on 23 November 2014. He saw 3 lights, 2 white and 1 red, forming a triangle and moving slowly and silently in a straight line. Only 1 account was collected. The attached investigation considered aircraft-like lighting, heavy aircraft traffic near Nice airport and motion consistent with local wind. An aircraft or 3 balloons or illuminated lanterns were possible, but much angular, azimuthal and witness information was missing. Pending clarification of the UAP's appearance, movement, position and disappearance, GEIPAN provisionally classified the case C: unidentifiable on the current evidence, with too much missing information for a firm assessment.
