IVRY-LE-TEMPLE (60) 11.12.2014

On 11 December 2014 at 03:35, a woman closing her window saw 3 equally spaced points of light. Their regular spacing made the sighting seem unusual. Frightened, she did not look again until about 03:50, by which time they were gone. No other account was recorded. GEIPAN rates both strangeness and evidential support as low. The 3 stars of Orion’s Belt could explain the lights, but missing precise direction and angular spacing, together with the witness’s fear at the time, prevent useful assessment. The case is classified C, unidentifiable for lack of data, although Orion’s Belt remains possible.
