On 1 February 2015 at 01:30, 2 witnesses in Toulouse watched a stationary blue light above the clouds to the south for a very long time. One account was collected. GEIPAN considers a fixed light lasting more than an hour suggestive of an astronomical phenomenon. The Moon was nearly full and particularly visible that night, and the reported blue color suggested moonlight. Unsettled weather brought frequent clouds that could randomly create gaps or dense patches. GEIPAN considers moonlight a fairly probable explanation, but cannot readily confirm it without photographs or another account. The case is classified C: insufficient information.
