Case description
On 3 April 2015 at 16:15, a woman driving with 2 passengers saw an unfamiliar aircraft moving slowly and silently at low altitude.
Military air-traffic-control enquiries found a military aircraft over Lapeyrouse at 16:00, heading north/northwest at 2,100 ft, approximately 700 m as stated in the source. Despite a 15-minute time discrepancy and differing altitude estimates, GEIPAN considers its unusual presence a complete explanation.
The case is classified A: definite military-aircraft sighting.
