TOURS (37) 07.05.2015

On 7 May 2015 at 23:15 in Tours (37), a witness saw a strikingly bright spherical object descend vertically in the sky. He watched for 1 hour until clouds or fog hid it. Only 1 account was collected. He described it as east-southeast, “towards the Basilica of Saint Martin,” but that landmark is northwest of his position, a contradiction noted in the investigation report. On the objective evidence collected, GEIPAN classifies the case A: a confirmed observation of Venus very low on the horizon.
