On 6 June 2015 at 17:30 in Clamart (92), a witness saw 3 small silver objects move northwest to southeast, then abruptly move vertically and disappear. Local weather records show light westerly wind at 16:00, northwesterly at 17:00 and northerly at 18:00. GEIPAN finds the movement consistent with windborne party balloons made silver-looking by sunlight. It attributes the vertical departure and disappearance probably to a balloon bursting at some altitude. The case is classified B: probable party balloons.
