VILLENEUVE-TOLOSANE (31) 09.07.2015

On 9 July 2015 at 17:30, a witness in his garden saw a stationary white sphere. It moved forwards, backwards, right and left, then rose very rapidly in a straight line and disappeared. The silent sighting lasted 3 minutes. Only 1 account was submitted. GEIPAN considered a child’s balloon initially held or tethered, moving with the wind or its owner’s actions, then released intentionally or accidentally. This unusual but suitable explanation cannot be substantiated without photographs, video or other accounts. Météociel records at Blagnac show a strong northwesterly wind. The case is classified C for lack of information and corroboration.
