On 5 August 2015 at 23:10, a witness in Fontaine (38) saw an intensely bright white point cross part of the sky and disappear. The account was precise in both timing and sky position. GEIPAN finds the path exactly matches the ISS, which was conspicuous that evening; the witness saw only the final part of its passage.
