On 6 August 2015 at 22:20, a witness saw a translucent triangular shape pass rapidly across the sky. No sound, flashing or trail was noticed. Only 1 account was collected. It moved southwest to northeast through a few tens of degrees in 1 second.
A Calsky check (see the attached record) showed the International Space Station passing west to east at low elevation from 22:20 to 22:25. Although simultaneous, it was far from the witness's viewing direction: the witness was lying down looking toward the zenith.
The speed and timing during the Perseid meteor-shower season suggest 3 simultaneous shooting stars, perhaps from a single body. This does not itself explain the reported hollow triangle, which might be a shape or contour illusion (see the linked explanation). The hypothesis cannot be confirmed, and in a telephone interview the witness said the points' brightness did not resemble a shooting star.
A single observer's very brief sighting cannot characterize the phenomenon precisely. GEIPAN classifies the case C: insufficient information and corroboration.
