On 11 August 2015 at about 22:05, a witness on his terrace saw 2 lights of different colours low in a clear sky. They moved silently in a straight line, accelerated, zigzagged, resumed a straight path and disappeared, maintaining the same spacing throughout. He supplied his GPS position, the exact viewing azimuth and an annotated photograph representing the observation. Only 1 account reached GEIPAN. The investigation report identifies missing information about the UAP’s colours. Although a drone flying at night is the most plausible explanation, this gap prevents a firm conclusion. GEIPAN classifies the case C: currently unidentifiable because information and corroboration are insufficient for a substantiated assessment.
