PETITE-VERRIERE (LA) (71) 07.09.2015

On 7 September 2015 at about 21:43, a witness in La Petite-Verrière (71) saw 2 brief flashes a few seconds apart in a clear sky. Only 1 account was collected. GEIPAN finds moderate strangeness but sufficient evidence for satellite reflections. Further investigation identified Globalstar 56 as very probably responsible because its path and timing exactly matched the account; see the investigation report. GEIPAN classifies the case A: satellite reflections involving Globalstar 56.
