On 9 October 2015 at 21:00, a motorcyclist on a small road saw a dark oval UAP in a field about 50 m away. Stopping, the witness heard no sound and reported seeing people enter it while it hovered above the ground. Frightened, the witness drove on, stopped farther along and saw it depart quickly in a straight line. No other account was collected. The submitted account is surprisingly brief for an unusual event reportedly watched for 10 minutes. GEIPAN asked the witness to report to the gendarmerie, and the witness verbally agreed but never went, despite repeated email and telephone reminders from both organizations.
