AMPUIS (69) 29.12.2015

On 29 December 2015 at about 16:58, a witness on the first floor of his home in Ampuis (69) saw 3 elongated white luminous forms to the south and then southwest. They appeared stationary before moving silently in straight lines. A female friend and a relative also watched; the observation lasted about 12 minutes. GEIPAN considers the evidential basis good: only 1 of the 3 witnesses reported, but 3 photographs enabled certain identification of 3 short aircraft condensation trails lit by the setting Sun.
