On 22 April 2017 at 23:41, a witness saw 3 lights aligned horizontally in the sky. A few minutes later, 2 additional lights appeared vertically, making an L shape. No movement, displacement or change in brightness was noticed during the reported 45-minute observation. The witness photographed the UAP and also supplied 2 photographs from a somewhat similar sighting on 18 April, which might help explain the 22 April case. No other account was collected.
The description shares features with several ordinary explanations that certain reported details would initially appear to rule out (see the investigation report).
Unfortunately, key points could not be checked or clarified. Did the sighting really last 45 minutes, when the available photographs were taken only seconds apart? Was the window open or closed during the different phases? Despite several follow-ups, the witness did not answer these questions.
The second phase, when the 2 extra lights appeared, is particularly lacking in detail despite being an unusual feature.
The case has some strangeness, but the single account, uncertainty about key points and failure to respond to requests for clarification leave the evidence too weak to establish that strangeness.
The case is classified C: account unusable because of insufficient data.
