On 13 July 2017 at 22:38, a witness in his courtyard saw 1 red ball and 3 green balls initially stationary, then moving slowly through a clear sky. He photographed the scintillating phenomenon before it receded and disappeared. No sound was heard. Only 1 account was collected. GEIPAN considers a group of differently coloured sky lanterns probable. Infoclimat shows wind towards the southeast, along the viewing direction, explaining the nearly constant azimuth. Slow disappearance could reflect gradually extinguishing burners. The summer date, the eve of the national holiday, favours such celebrations. The case is classified B: sky lanterns.
