CORNEBARRIEU (31) 22.07.2022

On 22 July 2022 at about 23:00, several people were in a garden in Cornebarrieu (31). One noticed a light and alerted the others. They then saw a black mass moving silently along a straight, ascending path before disappearing into the distance. Only 1 account was collected. GEIPAN considers the evidential basis poor because key details are missing; see the investigation report. The address was given only as the Monges neighborhood. No usable starting or ending azimuths were supplied: the witness said it appeared on the right while facing the line of trees at the back of the garden and disappeared on the left, using the village church as a landmark. Without the observer's exact position, these descriptions cannot establish bearings. Details of red/orange lights underneath were also lacking. GEIPAN classifies the case C: insufficient information.
