On 18 January 2025 at about 18:00, a witness parked at a supermarket saw a strange light in a very cloudy sky. It was a bar made of “about 10 yellow rectangles like windows,” described as separate rectangles of light rather than a solid structure. Initially stationary, it moved slowly and silently for about 30 seconds, then disappeared behind the cloud layer. Evidence is weak: a single account recorded in an official report, with no photographs or video. The witness did not respond to the investigator's requests, so necessary details could not be obtained. GEIPAN defines evidential consistency as the amount of information in an account considered reliable and objectively supported. Various hypotheses were studied (see the investigation report), but none could be assessed or retained without reliable supporting information.
