During a flight on 18 November 2025, a witness again saw up to 9 or 10 moving points of varying brightness, as on the previous day (see [AERO] Amsterdam (NL.1118) to Nantes (44), 17 November 2025). Only 1 account was collected.
GEIPAN rates strangeness as low and evidential support as very good, with at least 4 witnesses and videos. It identifies Starlink satellite flares. In GEIPAN’s terminology, evidential support is the amount of reliable, objectively established information collected for an account.
The description fits such sightings: numerous short, straight paths in the same area of sky and strong brightness changes. The UAP lay vertically above the Sun’s position while the Sun was about 40° below the horizon. This matches GEIPAN’s published analysis, ‘A new phenomenon explained: sunlight illuminating Starlink satellites in their operational orbits—satellite flaring.’
The case is classified A: Starlink satellite flares.
