Essendon unusual aerial object — 18 January 1958

A surviving report form and RAAF forwarding note document an unusual aerial object at Essendon on 18 January 1958. The form indicates an observation lasting about five minutes in a clear sky and describes a white, cloud-like object; no structural detail, propulsion method or sound was recorded in the legible OCR. The forwarding note dated 5 February 1958 identifies the event and location. Several form fields remain partly illegible, so no unsupported height, speed or identity is supplied.
