Case description
The imported Belo Horizonte entry gives September 17, 1967 and two witnesses. A fuller account associated with the Hospital da Baleia football field names sixteen-year-old Fábio José Diniz and commonly uses September 14. These versions share a porthole-equipped object and unusually tall occupants, but their dates and witness counts should not be silently combined.
The detailed report describes a brown mushroom-shaped craft supported by a central column, with a transparent screen lowering toward the ground. Two large beings emerged, wearing green, tightly fitted suits with integral head coverings and breathing tubes. Their visible upper faces reportedly had widely separated round eyes and pronounced brow shapes. Diniz said they spoke Portuguese and demanded his return the next day; the object did not appear when he returned with investigators.
Hulvio Aleixo investigated for CICOANI and published in Flying Saucer Review. Claimed residue and its reported analysis do not establish an extraterrestrial origin. The plate follows the fuller Diniz variant, with the boy, two green-suited figures and mushroom craft, while a month-only caption keeps the day conflict explicit.
