Barcelona entity encounter — September 21, 1967

At about 12:30 a.m. on 21 September 1967, José M. Edrosa, aged forty, was driving home toward Granollers on the Santa Coloma–La Roca route in the Barcelona area. According to Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos's catalogue, he noticed a strong fluorescent glow and a pot- or casserole-shaped object resting on the ground. Several small figures with disproportionately large heads were moving toward it. The figures were described as shining or resplendent and dressed in white. At this point the car reportedly reared, and Edrosa fled on foot in panic. The original catalogue explicitly leaves open whether the vehicle movement resulted from the driver's own action. That qualification matters: a later short abstract's statement that the car was lifted should not be expanded into a demonstrated levitation or beam attack.
