Ricardone unidentified-object report — July 1, 1968

At about 4 a.m. on July 1, 1968, a 17-year-old returning from a dance reportedly encountered two extremely tall figures at Ricardone, Argentina. HUMCAT gives his name as Raul Salcedo; the imported Magonia-derived entry spells it Calcedo. The figures were described as nearly ten feet, or about three meters, tall. The account concentrates on their size and the witness's reaction rather than on close facial or clothing details. Salcedo said he felt a powerful attraction toward them that almost prevented movement. He nevertheless managed to break away and run home, badly frightened. Contemporary reporting also mentioned unusual lights or objects locally and around San Lorenzo. That surrounding activity does not establish that he saw these two figures leave a spacecraft. The HUMCAT addendum is especially useful here: it discusses a possibly confused report about another 17-year-old, Jorge Salvedo, who allegedly saw armored giants emerge from a UFO at San Lorenzo. One compiler treated the accounts as contradictory versions; HUMCAT suggested that they could be separate cases. The present record retains the Ricardone sequence and does not borrow the other account's metallic armor, large heads, or craft. The plate therefore places one young witness with two distant giant silhouettes, leaving undocumented anatomy indistinct and explicitly noting that no craft is established in his account.
