Lins entity encounter — October 9, 1968

Municipal worker Turíbio, also rendered Doribio or Toribio, Pereira reported an encounter in Lins, São Paulo, at about 6:20 a.m. in October 1968. While tending or oiling a tractor or bulldozer, he said he noticed a golden, cigar-shaped object hovering only a short distance away, roughly thirty centimetres above the ground. The imported Magonia-derived entry uses October 9; HUMCAT and other versions use October 2. Pereira described an extended platform beneath the object. One figure produced a drill-like device that flashed toward him, after which he felt unable to move. Three other men stood on the platform, including one apparently collecting soil with a shell-shaped implement. Through a transparent upper section, another figure seemed to operate a keyboard. Magonia/HUMCAT-derived versions give five figures and blue hooded robes. A Brazilian INFA/SBEDV-derived account instead describes four human-looking figures with smooth youthful faces, blue hooded tunics, red skirt sections and strapped sandals: a device bearer, soil collector, tractor examiner and keyboard operator beneath an oval craft’s open dome. The object reportedly flashed three times, retracted its platform and departed after a rotating apparatus appeared underneath. Pereira was taken home and reported the experience to municipal offices. The compiled account says a doctor found him normal and that Air Force personnel later questioned him; original medical and interrogation records are not supplied here. The plate uses October-level dating and shows the witness, four figures and craft following the specifically identified Brazilian variant without depicting an injury or active weapon discharge.
