Greensburg entity encounter — August 27, 1973

The Beech Hill report near Greensburg concerns two claimed observations on the night of August 27,1973. A woman reportedly saw a large boomerang-shaped object hovering above a heavily wooded area. Her husband went outside to investigate and described encountering a large, hairy creature walking upright. Later summaries say its face appeared wolf-like. The husband allegedly fired at the figure without an apparent effect. The brief catalogue does not explain its subsequent departure or establish that it entered the aerial object. It also supplies no detailed dimensions, photographs or recovered material. The conjunction of the two reports is preserved, while a biological or technological relationship between the creature and object remains an interpretation. Paul Johnson and Joan Jeffers’s Pennsylvania Bigfoot material is cited in Rosales’s catalogue; the regional report list maintained by Pennsylvania researchers also preserves the date and Beech Hill location. Other nearby Bigfoot reports on the same date should not be merged into this encounter.
