Uden entity encounter — October 1973

The short Uden entry places three small figures outside a woman's house in October 1973 and mentions no object. Douwe Bosga's later first-hand reinvestigation, published in MUFON UFO Journal 133, provides a fuller sequence. The witness, identified in later Dutch writing as Ann Dolphijn, 55, was awake around 2:15 a.m. and watched from a window. Bosga reconstructed the date as probably November 10, rather than the earlier catalogue's October. She described three white-robed figures on the pavement between her house and a school. Two were about three feet tall and the third slightly taller. Their cowls covered their faces and ended in two points over the shoulders. Tight belts carried instrumentlike items, and their shoes were broad and blunt. One moved an implement over the pavement. After noticing her, the figures reportedly withdrew rapidly. From another window she then saw a red luminous sphere, two to two-and-a-half metres across, some 35–40 metres away. It was gone when she and her husband looked again. The sphere was not a witnessed vehicle exit or boarding. Later proposals include gas-leak inspection workers and carnival dress, but no conclusive matching record was established. The plate explicitly combines two successive views. Its faceless cowls follow the description, while likenesses, instruments and street arrangement remain approximate.
