Case description
On October 17, 1973, Clarence Patterson reportedly encountered a large cigar-shaped object with a green light near Loxley, Alabama. NICAP's catalogue describes both Patterson and his pickup truck being drawn into the object.
The related Hatch digest adds a report of six robotic or android-like figures and communication interpreted as thought-reading. Its bibliography points to Kevin Randle's The October Scenario and other abbreviated references. These descriptions belong to the reported account; the labels do not establish what the figures were.
The imported summaries do not preserve a complete examination, release, or reporting sequence, or establish how each part of the recollection was obtained. A later Our Strange Skies episode specifically discusses Patterson and links contemporary newspaper material, but a suitable YouTube edition was not verified. The portrait depicts the pickup and green-lit object, with vehicle and craft details reconstructed.
