Case description
On the night of 3 May 1975, Alois Olenick, 48, was driving his 1959 Chevrolet pickup along Mogford Road south of San Antonio when an amber light rose from trees ahead. He initially considered a helicopter. It approached rapidly, its forward light becoming cherry red, and hovered over the truck. Olenick reported that the engine and headlights failed.
The object tilted toward him, exposing a transparent upper section above a reflective metal underside and surrounding shelf or ring. Inside were two short, wiry-looking figures with bald heads, prominent long ears and noses, narrow eyes and smooth gray skin. One seemed occupied with controls, although the hands were not visible; the nearer figure watched the driver. Olenick estimated the closest view lasted only seconds. A rushing, windlike roar and electrical or burned-copper odor accompanied it.
The object abruptly ascended, buffeting the truck. Olenick subsequently described eye discomfort and wearing sunglasses. Gary Graber documented the account in Skylook in February 1976; later vehicle-interference catalogues revisited it. A May 5 Pleasanton listing resembles this case but should not silently replace the May 3 San Antonio date. Mechanical stoppage, odor and symptoms remain witness claims; the narrative establishes neither a medical diagnosis nor extraterrestrial identity.
