Case description
A published account places twelve-year-old Francesco Ojeda near Refrigerio, Brazil, at about 4 p.m. on March 3, 1976. Walking home from school through woodland, he allegedly reached a clearing containing a shiny circular object about forty feet across, resting on a small metallic platform. Two figures less than five feet tall, wearing reflective suits, appeared to be working on it.
The fuller story says they returned inside when they noticed him. A rotating device then emitted light, leaving him only partly aware of what followed. Later recollections included being aboard the object and an alleged examination, together with a reassuring message interpreted as telepathic. His parents were reportedly led to him by the family dog, finding him disoriented with temporarily impaired vision. No original medical record was examined here.
The identifiable publication trail runs through Gray Barker’s June 1977 UFO Report article, citing a newspaper called La Nacion, and later HUMCAT summaries. The state varies between Pernambuco and Ceará, and detailed entity faces were not recorded. These repeated versions do not constitute independent verification. The plate shows only the initial exterior encounter, with the boy safely and fully clothed, and does not depict the alleged examination or bodily effects.
