The imported April 23, 1976 Flintville entry is only a short humanoid listing naming Robertson. Fuller regional accounts describe Jennie Robertson and her four-year-old son Gary in the same month, but a Tennessee sighting chronology dates their episode to April 26 and assigns April 23 to two teenagers seeing a creature climb a bank. This date and attribution conflict remains unresolved; the incidents should not be silently combined into a single precisely dated event. In the Robertson narrative, Jennie heard her son cry out while he was outside their home. She said a very large hairy upright creature was nearby, and brought Gary into the house. Later retellings describe a strong unpleasant odour and a search by local men, including a deputy. Their searches produced further claims of noises, thrown stones, hair and large footprints, but no captured animal or independently established identity for the tracks or hair was recovered for this record. Investigator Brent Raynes, recalling his own visits beginning in May 1976, confirmed that the child episode had attracted considerable publicity. Neighbours described tall, broad-shouldered, shaggy figures and unusual sounds; these are additional reports, not proof of every detail attributed to the Robertsons. Some accounts of the wider Flintville outbreak mention lights, but no craft is established in this particular family encounter.
