Case description
A report dated 17 February 1977 concerns a teacher and two canteen workers at Broad Haven school in Pembrokeshire, Wales. During daylight they reportedly watched a silvery-yellow, cigar-shaped object glide over a field. A loud humming sound accompanied its passage. The accessible chronology does not name the three adults or give a precise observation time.
The fuller entry contains a detail lost from the imported short abstract: before the object left, a humanlike figure was briefly seen stepping outside it and then returning inside. It supplies no face, height, clothing, landing-gear design or explanation of how the figure was supported. Those missing particulars prevent a more exact reconstruction of the occupant or the object’s position during that brief action.
NICAP attributes the story to Albert Rosales’s catalogue, case 1386, citing J. A. Brooks’s Ghosts and Legends of Wales. This is a later catalogue chain rather than an inspected contemporary witness statement. The adult staff report is distinct from the widely publicised children’s Broad Haven observation earlier that month. Children, silver-suited figures from other Welsh encounters and military explanations should not be imported into this particular account merely because they share the same regional wave.
