Cruis landing encounter — July 24, 1977

Mr. and Mrs. Gaizand reported an encounter on Route 951 east of Cruis, France, on July 24, 1977, at approximately 10:30 p.m. Beside the road they saw a white luminous form shaped like a hemisphere, apparently resting on the ground about forty metres away. The fuller account estimates the object at seven to eight metres across and about two and a half metres high. Three bright blue-white lights were visible. Two humanlike figures, estimated at about 1.65 metres tall and wearing grey uniforms and helmets, stood beside it. Mrs. Gaizand became frightened and asked her husband to drive away. Later summaries report conjunctivitis and difficulty sleeping after the observation, but do not establish a measured cause for those symptoms.
