Mediania Alta Loiza entity encounter — August 31, 1977

Two witnesses sitting on their home’s steps in Medianía Alta, Loíza, reported a disc-shaped object above a nearby palm grove at about 8 p.m. on August 31,1977. It allegedly stopped in the air, displaying a strong white light underneath, flashing green and blue lights and several illuminated side windows. The lights then went out and the object disappeared from view. Later that night, a third witness went into the yard to dispose of cooking waste and saw four small figures standing near a water tap. She described silvery outfits, bald heads with short antenna-like projections, prominent pointed ears, small mouths and long, thin necks. Their arms were crossed over their chests. She screamed and went indoors to summon the others, but the figures were no longer visible when they returned. The account is preserved through Sebastián Robiou Lamarche’s regional UFO work and subsequent Rosales and NICAP summaries. The earlier object observation and later entity glimpse involve different witnesses and do not demonstrate a boarding or departure relationship. A separate account dated the following morning should not be folded into this night’s sequence. The plate retains the distinctive ear, neck and crossed-arm descriptions while clearly labelling its simultaneous craft-and-figures composition as a reconstruction of successive reports.
