Case description

A young couple reportedly experienced an unusual interruption near Sesto Fiorentino, Italy, on February 23, 1978. The fuller account places them in a car on Monte Morello at approximately 11:45 p.m. Interference disrupted the radio, and the man stepped outside to investigate. He described becoming surrounded by warm violet light and perceiving four vague forms and other lights. He believed he had remained close to the car. On returning, however, he found his fiancée crying and learned that she believed about twenty minutes had elapsed. The radio then worked normally again. Some later catalogues transformed the place name Morello into the supposed surname of a married couple. This description instead preserves the earlier anonymous couple and the location. The account does not supply a clearly observed spacecraft or a detailed occupant morphology. Its publication trail includes Italian UFO bulletins and a later International UFO Reporter review. The image retains the ambiguous forms rather than turning them into precisely described extraterrestrials.
