Case description
Two boys identified by initials A. B. and F. C., aged about ten and eleven, reportedly encountered unusual figures near Can Cifre, Ibiza, around July 10–11, 1978. The common catalogue date is July 11 at approximately 1 p.m. They had climbed a carob tree near a rural property when a noise below led them to climb down.
Their first reported figure was robotlike and about two metres tall, with a reflective metallic body, a flattened upper head, loop-like antennae and vertical slits where eyes would be expected. As the children fled toward a fence, they also described a tall hooded or robed figure wearing white with black vertical stripes and a golden star on the chest. Accounts disagree about its hair and other details. A grey ovoid object was said to hover nearby, later rising near power lines; some versions describe a pursuing blue light.
The publication trail appears to lead to local newspaper coverage, subsequently retold by Iker Jiménez and other writers. The property name, precise date, pursuit duration and trace descriptions vary. One version says the boys later damaged a triangular/circular ground mark while playing; others imply a more formal search. No independently authenticated trace was located here. The plate is labeled as a composite of conflicting reports and keeps both children safely clothed and at a distance.
