Case description
Four travellers near Bragg Creek, Alberta, reportedly noticed a bright white light approaching their car late on November 11, 1978. Later summaries place the encounter on a snowy night. As it came closer, they described a large, broad object resembling a hovercraft rather than a distant point of light.
Numerous illuminated square windows were said to line its side. One witness reported seeing several humanlike figures standing behind them. The travellers also described disorientation and a possible gap in their recollection. Those claims do not, by themselves, establish an abduction, a measured duration of missing time, or an examination inside the object; none is supplied in this entry.
The report survives through Canadian encounter catalogues and NICAP’s chronology, with source references requiring further comparison for a complete investigation history. No useful occupant anatomy is recorded. The plate therefore includes four travellers, the broad windowed object and ordinary humanlike silhouettes, with the exact number of depicted window figures and detailed craft fittings treated as artistic.
