Case description
On February 26, 1979, at about 8:30 p.m., farmworker Ernaldo Camusoni was clearing brush near Serodino, Santa Fe, Argentina. An intense light appeared behind him. Turning, he said that he saw a red-violet object descend and stop roughly forty metres away.
A small, strongly built luminous figure emerged from the rear and moved toward him. Camusoni described watching with curiosity rather than fleeing. The figure stopped, appeared to observe him, and then returned behind the object. The object rose vertically and departed rapidly toward the south; the episode was said to last about five minutes.
A circle of dried vegetation with internal markings was reportedly found the next day. The description and interpretation of those marks remain separate from the witness's visual account. Oscar Allemano's report in CEFAI material is the principal cited source, with later catalogues adding anatomical details not equally explicit in the reproduced original. The plate keeps the figure indistinct rather than treating every later detail as independently established.
