Rio Negro province unidentified light report — February 11, 1980

At about 10 p.m. on 11 February 1980, 22-year-old Carlos Vommaro left his girlfriend's home near Ingeniero Huergo, Río Negro, in a 1973 Ford Falcon. He noticed blue-white brightness beyond roadside poplars. The fuller Alejandro Chionetti account describes a nebulous L-shaped light beside a separate luminous rectangle, rather than a conventional saucer. It seemed to accompany his route near the orchards and irrigation channels. Vommaro said he lost awareness and recovered leaning over the steering wheel. The light appeared much closer and projected a widening illumination toward the car. He got out seeking help; an approaching motorist slowed but did not stay. He then realized he was near Cervantes, over fifteen kilometres from the last place he remembered. His watch suggested roughly an hour had passed. Police later accompanied him outside without finding the phenomenon. Subsequent weakness, back pain and unusual behavior by his dogs were reported. However, the detailed account describes no entities and supplies no recovered boarding sequence. The imported phrase that he remembered entities is unsupported by the consulted full narrative.
