A short report attributed to Quindira, Brazil, places this incident in February 1981 at approximately 2 a.m. An unnamed woman said an engine-like noise woke her. She went outside and saw a round object hovering nearby, with multicolored beams of light associated with it. Three humanlike beings were reportedly visible inside. One turned or glanced toward the witness before the object ascended and left. The surviving summary does not give a useful description of the occupants’ faces, clothing, exact size, or the arrangement of the craft’s interior. Its central sequence is therefore limited to the noise, the woman’s outdoor observation, the three visible occupants, and the departure.
