Mennecy entity encounter — May 1981

The Mennecy report concerns three women identified as Sandra, Viviane and Marie-France, travelling by car around 3 a.m. in May 1981. The NICAP/HUMCAT-derived account describes an orange, horizontally elongated cigar-shaped object hovering to the right of the road. Its surface appeared to have small dark, dotlike openings. As the women reached the crest of a hill, the object disappeared from view. A white sphere subsequently followed their vehicle. The catalogue does not supply a secure calendar day, surveyed distances or a detailed account of each woman's individual observation. Those omissions matter when reconstructing the scene: the cigar and following sphere belong to successive phases, rather than a documented simultaneous formation. Sandra later underwent hypnosis and described normal-sized humanoids inside an object. She recalled thin bodies, elongated eyes and white coveralls extending from head to feet. That occupant narrative is specifically attributed to her later hypnotic recollection; it should not be presented as something all three women independently saw through the openings during their drive. The recovered digest supplies no corroborating occupant photograph or direct physical evidence. The plate combines the travellers, cigar, sphere and reported forms in one labelled composite, with the figures' count and interior visibility identified as illustrative choices.
