Atcham, Shropshire entity encounter — July 16, 1981

Three women returning home along the A 5 near Atcham reported an unusual episode at about 2 a.m. on July 16,1981. They described an abrupt change in mood and an unnatural quietness, followed by four white lights and two red lights across a field. The lights appeared attached to a dark, rounded object that kept pace with their car. The vehicle reportedly lost power and would not accelerate normally. After the lights disappeared, the women discovered an apparent gap in their journey’s timing. The more elaborate encounter descriptions emerged later under hypnosis. One woman described the car rising into a craft through large lower doors and short, hairless figures in green cloaks. A second described featureless, round-headed robots with wheel-like feet.
