Praglia unidentified light report — October 8, 1981

Six boys riding dirt bikes near a lake at Praglia reported an encounter at about 3 p.m. After one rider fell and struck his head, two companions went to help him. A bright green light then descended over the water. Within it they described a gray metallic, oval-shaped object that came down on telescopic-looking legs close to the group. A door appeared in the object and a tall, humanlike figure became visible. It wore a loose silver outfit, had unusually long arms held upward, and feet described as oval appendages. Fuller catalogue versions add an apparent absence of a neck, a triangular head with ordinary-looking eyes, and a brief movement across the water before the figure returned. The craft subsequently left, reportedly disturbing the lake surface. The imported NICAP listing dates this to October 8, 1981, while fuller Italian-derived catalogues give November 8. The atlas retains that conflict rather than assigning certainty to either day. The reconstruction therefore uses “Autumn 1981.” The reported figure was not described as a conventional large-eyed gray alien; its distinctive clothing and proportions matter to this account.
