Santa Cruz das Palmeiras entity encounter — February 14, 1982

On February 14, 1982, Fernando Antonio Martins, 36, was hunting with Edson Maragon at Fazenda Prudente do Morro near Santa Cruz das Palmeiras, São Paulo. The men separated, and Martins said he crossed a pasture before encountering a large triangular object on three metal supports, about fifteen metres away. The fuller GUG account places the episode between 8:10 and 9:20 p.m.; it does not make Maragon a simultaneous witness to every detail. Martins described a white light beneath the craft, a little smoke and a door whose lower section opened as a ramp. Three figures about 1.9 metres tall descended. They appeared feminine to him, with slim builds, black full-body suits, pale oval faces, pointed chins, small noses, slightly oversized eyes and long blond hair. A fourth form was reportedly visible at a window near a dome carrying changing coloured lights. He recalled initial fear changing to calm, then an abrupt discontinuity: the figures were gone, the door closed and he was leaving. Maragon reportedly said he had searched for him for about an hour, although Martins thought only minutes had passed. Martins later described headaches, tingling, ground depressions and whitening patches of hair. These remain reported aftermath, not proof of a cause. The plate depicts Martins’s pasture observation without inventing an onboard episode; the published GUG narrative is richer than the imported three-figure digest.
