Rio Negro Province unidentified-object report — February 20, 1982

Juan Fattorel, a 41-year-old fruit grower from Allen, Río Negro, described a roadside episode on the night of February 19–20, 1982. Alejandro Chionetti’s investigation, published in UFO PRESS 15, places his journey after farm work, a fuel stop and a conversation at a tyre shop. At about 9:30 p.m., his Renault 12 reportedly lost power near the old Route 22 access road. This fuller account describes a car, rather than the truck in the imported digest. Fattorel said he heard a buzzing and saw an unlit, aluminium-like object about ten metres to his left, rocking half a metre above the road. He compared its compact form to a Fiat 600 without its front. His vision clouded, and a forceful voice ordered him to get out. Reaching for the ignition, he reported neck pain and loss of consciousness. No visible occupants are described in this investigation. He later recalled waking near his car with impaired vision and eventually receiving help from an Alto Valle bus crew, Gendarmerie and police before hospital observation. Chionetti recorded physical marks and symptoms but found ordinary explanations for claimed local power failures and could not verify supposed supporting witnesses. Fattorel did not believe he had been taken aboard. The account supports a reported object, voice and memory gap, rather than a detailed alien encounter or proven teleportation.
